Methodology

How we compare

Our comparisons are structured records of sourced facts. This page explains what we record, where it comes from and what we deliberately leave out.

Which operators are listed

Order on a comparison is never a ranking.

Sources and dates

Each fact carries a link to the page it came from and the date it was checked. When a source changes or can no longer be reached, the fact returns to pending until it is checked again.

What we leave out

  • Star ratings, numerical scores and aggregated review counts.
  • Claims of hands-on testing that are not documented.
  • Bonus amounts that have not been confirmed in the operator's current terms.
  • Statements about legality that go beyond what the regulator publishes.

Draft and published pages

A country page stays in draft, and is excluded from search engines and the sitemap, until its research and local copy are complete. Draft pages are visible so that progress is transparent, but they make no claims about operator availability.
